Free Speech & Solidarity

There was an event last fall at Bridgewater State University with a speech by Lech Walesa, the founder of the Solidarity movement in Poland. A hero, an icon. We created this video to announce and to play at the event, that put the event in context. With a bit of digging in the Associated Press archives we were able to license and use video clips and images from the time of Solidarity's founding. We also celebrated the donors who made the event possible, and who funded a new endowed chair at Bridgewater, for Free Speech and Expression.
